10 Years of Pure Awesomeness

The Doctor Who universe is devided into a few sections...

1963 - 1989 is known as the Classical era of Doctor Who on televison, but was cancelled in 1989 after 26 years on television.

1989 - 1996 Doctor Wh was kept alive on radio and in comic books

1996 - A TV movie of Doctor Who was made, attempting to introduce it to American and a young audience, sadly this attempt failed

1996 - 2005 Doctor Who was kept alive through radio and comic books

2005 - now In 2005 Doctor Who was brought back on telelvion, and has gained a huge following with it.

Today Whovians celebrate ten years of Nu-Who.... What an awesome ride it has been and still is going to be. Every incarnation of the Doctor in the last ten years has been awesome and so have the companions. The writing has improved majorly making it a must watch for any viewer. Even though it has improved so much it is still remained Doctor Who, with its quirkyness and humour.

Today I celebrate 10 years, and I look forward to another 100!

So if one were to start watching Dr. Who, where do they start? All the way back in 1963 or 2005? Either way, that’s a lot of catching up to do.

2005, it starts with a new Doctor and it introduces a new audience to an old concept. They did it so well that it felt brand new with a rich history. It is, but it is so worth it…
